Alcalde Early Years
We wanted to create an image of the JTHS culture before the 1960's and so explored some Alcaldes dating back to the first one
published in 1907. These students may have dressed differently and sported
different hair styles, but were they really any different than we? Nope! They were the forebearers of the "greatest generation,"
which gave rise to our own personal predecessors- our parents. We are eternally grateful for that inheritance and have sought
to share it with all future generations. Hope you enjoy the trip back to our early history.
